Being a “maverick” means marching to the beat of your own drum. John McCain has no discipline, no internal moral compass, no principles just success. He is a loose cannon, likely to destroy anything he runs into by random careening around the deck, may go off explosively at any time, thinks he is in control when he is just rolling in the gravity well, and mistaking the attention he gets as agreement and admiration.
He does not have my vote.
